how do I take slides from a presentation to my pictures file

I want to take pictures from a powerpoint presentation and make them into
individual pictures that I can send to "my pictures" file. How can I do
that???

Hi,

Click on File, Save As, and change to an image format (such as JPG or BMP)
and choose your picture folder to save them in.

I sure wish everyone would mention which version of PowerPoint they are using.
There are five versions in use and the rules are different depending on your
version. Does File > Save As work for you is you select JPG or PNG as the file
type? That will make the whole slide a picture. If you have PowerPoint 2002 or
2003 you can right click the picture and select Save Picture As.
