How do I turn off double spacing?

In Microsoft Publsher 2007, I copied into a text document from a wordpad
document, and now anytime I try to create a new text box, in new file,
everything is double spaced. I cannot turn it off.

If a re-boot doesn't solve your problem, creating a new normal template might be
in order. This article should be okay for Publisher 2007 too.
