How do I unembed fonts in a publication?

In a very large document (20 pages) I embedded the fonts, thinking it would
help me with a conversion to PDF problem. However, it didn't help and now I
cannot make any changes to the document at all. How do I unembed the fonts,
or get out of this bad situation?

On the Tools menu, point to Commercial Printing Tools, and then click Fonts.
Click the name of the font whose status you want to change.
Do one of the following:
Click Embed to embed a font that is currently marked No under Embed Font.
Click Don't Embed to prevent embedding a font that is marked Yes under Embed Font.

File size still huge -unembed fonts?

Hi. I am running Word 2004 on a Mac in OS X, and there is no "Commercial
Printing Tools" in the Tools menu. Is there elsewhere I can look?
