How do I upgrade from Office 2002 to Office 2003?

Do I have to uninstall my Office 2002 before installing my newly purchased
Office 2003? If yes what happens to my MS Outlook setting? Do I have to do it
again and import the address book and mails manually?

No, you shouldn't lose anything. Back up your PST file first to be on the
safe side, though. See

http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/backupandrestore.htm
http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/aboutpst.htm

Never export/import - you'll lose data.

Run the upgrade; it should keep your settings & data intact.

Depends on what version the new purchase is.
If it's an upgrade, there needs top be an existing version to upgrade from.
If it's a full version, either will work.
