How do I upgrade office 2003 basic to office professional 2003?

I am trying to upgrade to Office Pro 2003 for Office Basic 2003. I need to
use Powerpoint and Access which did not come with 2003 Basic which was
installed in my computer new.

TJMat59,
To use Office Pro 2003 you will need to buy a full version. Office does not
allow for a "cross upgrade" option. Or you can buy Powerpoint and Access
separately.

Go to your nearest Microsoft software dealer and buy a copy..

Hi T.J.,

MS considers lateral moves within the same product series,
in this case Office 2003, to be cross-grades, rather than
upgrades.

Since Office 2003 Basic Edition is an OEM only (preinstall
on new PC) editions, rather than a retail store edition,
you may want to contact the PC provider as they often have
a tradeup program available for the Office copies they provide.
