How do I view MIME formatted emails in Outlook 2003?

In Outlook 2002 I could open letters from our school with no problem.
Upgrading to 2003 has blocked that. I get this message: This is a
MIME-formatted message. If you see this text it means that your E-mail
software does not support MIME-formatted messages. How do I tell Outlook
2003 to let me view these?

Word documents (and any binary attachment) MUST be sent in MIME format or
you wouldn't be able to send them. Make sure you are using Plain Text or
HTML format for your messages.
