Hyperlinks do work with just the left click of a mouse, but only when the
page is viewed in a browser, or in Preview in FrontPage.

I do not want people using the web site to have to use "ctrl+click" tto go
to link.

When he says "just a left click", I *think* he means he wants to disable the
right-click ability to open the link in a new window.

He is in design view and thinks that is an exact preview.

ctrl-click only applies to the FrontPage design view. When the site is
published and viewed in a browser the usual left click will be just fine.
Try File->Preview in Browser and check it.
