I'm trying to do home for College. I need to draw line graphs to represent
equations. I'm trying to use the grid paper supplied with Word 2003. Any
assistance with this is greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't use Word 2003's graph paper. Rather, I recommend the
free program WinPlot. You can create the graphs in WinPlot, then
copy & paste into your Word document. You can download WinPlot
from this link:

The guy who created WinPlot has several other free math programs
too. They're listed here:

They're all totally freeware (not shareware), and are updated
often.

Could you not also Insert --> Object... Microsoft Excel Chart... or a
Microsoft Graph ???

You might want to explore those options.
