Nothing will happen if you continue to shout at the hard drive.
If you can make an image of the hard drive before replacing, then you can
restore the image with no activation needed.
In you need to reinstall Office 2003, you will need to activate it. If it
has been more than 120 days since the last activation, the normal internet
activation should work. If not, just use the telephone options.
