How do you reference a previous post

I find that it's easiest for me to locate my previous reply and copy and paste
it as a reply to the new poster. Many of our posters are here for the first
time and are not familiar with how to get around. To make it worse, there are
hundreds of ways to reach this newsgroup and many non-Microsoft servers only
make a few days of posts available and they all have different but equally
confusing interfaces for newcomers.

You can go to groups.google.com, do a search to locate your post and post
the link. You might want to get familiar with www.tinyurl.com as the search
urls are quite long and hard to paste.
