how does one export a saved link?

A particular user has saved many useful links (i.e., filters for particular
reports/views). We'd like to export these saved links without having to
laboriously recreate the filters used to create them for every user who wants
it.

Any suggestions? Why do "links" only save for a particular user? Can they
be shared across a group of users? How?

You need to make the updates to the template file to include your custom view
information. The file is called Global.mpt.

On the menu bar: View/More Views... Select "Organizer" button. Pull the
Views Tab. You can copy the custom created views by selecting them in the
right hand pane and then select <<Copy.

Save the files.

We are using Project Enterprise, and the links I am referring to were saved
in Project Web Access. These links represent filters of views -- and it is
essentially these filters that I want to save/export/share, not the views
themselves.

I hope that makes sense.

Also, I'm sorry if I'm stupidly missing something or being needlessly dense.
