How not to print buttons on a report?

I've created my Access 2007 solution in a couple of hours. It works
great although I have a couple of questions that I'll ask in this ng.
I even was able to put buttons on the report to make my life easier,
though it's not something usually done, I'm sure. In Excel, you can
right-click and tell Excel not to print a button so your sheet can be
covered with button that have macros attached to them but they don't
print out. You get a regular spreadsheet printout.

Can this be done in Access, too?

I have a PRINT button and a CLOSE one and they both work very well,
it's just that they print out on the report, which is not nice.

How to fix that, pls?

StargateFanNotAtHome,
Sounds like you're printing the image of a form, (ergo the printed
buttons)
rather than creating a real report.
If so, on the form, set the button's Display When property to Screen
Only.

Al, that's what happens in A2003. I checked in A2007 and you can definitely
put buttons on a report - that's quite a change to what we are accustomed to
doing. I can't see any properties where you set the buttons to not print
though.

Stargate,
After reading Jeanette's reply... which is correct... my solution would
still
apply...
Those buttons on the report have a Display When property too.
(Just like buttons on a printed form)
Try setting Display When to Screen Only.
