how to activate MS Project online?

I have a product running on my laptop, but need to register it online.
Please advise how to proceed. As soon as software is installed and running it
doesn't allow me go through the registration of any kind... please advise

Irina,
There is registration and there is activation. Project requires
activation to allow continued use of all features. Registration is an
option (i.e. not required to use Project).

I can't say why your attempts at either did not work on-line, but there
is always the option to activate (and probably register also) via phone.
You might want to try that.
