How to assign cost to budget resource?

I use budget resource to make project budget as following:
1. Create a resource and mark it as budget
2. Show project summary task and assign this resource to it
3. Insert column with Budget Cost Field in Task view and Resource sheet.

And then the Budget Cost Field is read only? I can't assign any value in it,
but I am fuzzy about how to use budget well?
I am eager to know your advice, and this problem disturb me so long time.

I am so sorry to disturb here. I have solve this problem. The cost can be
modified in Task Usage and Resource Usage Views.^_^
