how to change the font of all Task Notes in MS Project

I

Ian

I'm using Project Standard 2003 SP1 and need to change Task Notes Font

Format Text Styles alters all Task font but does not affect the task notes.

Is there a mass-update available to alter these?

Hi Ian,

There may be a more "elegant" method...I work by inserting the Notes field
in a table view then selecting the column heading (to select all notes text)
and formatting the text through the formatting toolbar (font face, size,
etc.) works well. You can then remove the Notes field if you don't wish to
keep it in the table.

Hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi JulieS,

This seems to allow font formatting on the screen/if I print the notes
column as part of the other columns.

But it doesn't seem to affect the font of the notes when these are all
printed together as the last page of a printed plan.

Cheers though.

Hi Ian,

Sorry it didn't work for you. Just one clarification, it does change
(increase font size etc.) for the actual note text when I tested, but it
does not increase the Task Name and ID number that prints on the notes page.
If that is what you are searching for, I am sorry I do not know of any way
to accomplish that.

Hi again,

My note text in the Task Summary Information panels have not changed font
and it looks to me as though the printed notes page derives from these. You
seem to be saying that the notes text has changed for you but not the header
and ID.

Hmmm.....

Hi Ian,

So sorry. In further testing (with some much more obvious changes to font
formatting) you are correct. The only way I seem to be able to carry the
formatting to the printed notes page seems by changing the font in the Task
Information dialog box.

I am sorry to lead you on a wild chase :-(
