how to check my office CD is not already activated ?

I have Office 2003 cd's and I want to check if it is already used/activated
?

since I do not want to install it and activate it just to get the answer,
how can I test it without installing temporary the software on any
computer ?

How did you acquire the CDs? Just install and take your chances... if
