How to convert an Artemis schedule to MSP '07 schedule?

Hi

We are trying to convert our old Artemis schedules to MSP '07 as we are
going to implement PS07 effective from Jan '09. Please help. Is there any
converter / software available and what are the pro & cons of using that?

Thanks,
Trivikram.

No converters I am aware of. Your best bet is to look at all the formats
that Artemis exports to, then look at all the formats that Project imports
from, and see if there's a match. If not, I believe they may both have an
ODBC compliant format, which would be your only choice at that point.

In any of these cases, you may have to do some reconstruction after the
conversion. Links and resource assignments are the likely disconnects here,
but at least you won't have to reenter tasks and resources themselves.

Hope this helps in your world.

Artemis has 2 ways to export data.

1. There is an Export to MPX function. This is an older file format MS
project recognises (98, 2000, 2003)
2. Artemis has an MSP client that supports uploading/downloading of
project files.

HTH. Good luck!

Rossy,

Are you looking for the Artemis program? If so, see:
http://www.aisc.com/. If you have the Artemis program and want to
know about the functions Paul listed below in Artemis -- I'd suggest
contacting Artemis directly about their product.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
