How to convert an Excel document of Office 12

Hi all,
I have a problem and I hope to find a solution for it by the help of
this group members. The problem is that I have an excel document in
Office 12 format, but recently Excel started to give me an error
message every time I open it, and thus I don't have access to my
document right now. so I want to know if there is a software to convert
between the new format of Excel 12 and Excel XP? I just want to mention
that the new format of excel documents in Office 12 can't be opened by
Excel XP or 2003.

When Office 12 becomes available to the general public, then the
Microsoft website will offer free file converter downloads for
earlier Office versions that will enable the earlier versions to
open Office 12 files. These file converters are not yet
available because Office 12 is not yet available to the general
public.
