How to copy some tasks and maintain original resource assignments?

Hi
I want to copy a list of tasks (a task and it's subtasks) in the same
project. The tasks have some allocated resources.
When I try to copy, Project copies OK but leave empty the resource
assignments, eg, I have to manually assign each task to each resource.
Is there any way to copy one or more tasks maintaining the resource
assignments?

Before copying, make sure you select the entire task by clicking the row
number to select. The keyboard shortcut is once you've selected cells in the
rows you want to copy you press Shift+<Space>. This behavior is exactly the
same as in Excel.
