How to enter non-roman text?

I need advice on entering Russian language text using a Cyrillic font and
keyboard. Is there a simple way to do this? [Word 2003, Windows XP Home]

It would be better to post this question to
microsoft.public.word.international.features, but maybe all that you need to
do is select the cyrillic font.
