How to get a continuous slide show?

S

skeelynn

I have a final coming up and it is to make a slide presentation. So far i
have 4 slides, but when i try slideshow, it only goes through two at a time
continuously. I have to manually click next 2x to get to the last two. Please
how do i fix this?

When you say "click 2x", are you referring to a button that you have added
onto the slide?

Click Slide Show > Set Up Show.
Look under Show slides section. Is the option "All" selected? If not, you
will have to select it, then click Ok.

Next, on the slide thumbnails (you can see slide thumbnails on normal mode,
if not, click View > Slide Sorter), right click on the 3rd slide. See if
"Hide Slide" is selected. If it is, de-select it. Do the same on the 4th
slide.

thank you so much for your help. However neither one worked. When I said 2x,
i have a music file playing with the second slide, and I have to click next
twice to get to the next slide. I have selected "all" and none are hidden.
thank you

You missed out the important part previously. ;-)
Click on the second slide (the one with sound inserted). Click Slide Show >
Custom Animation.
Look for the "play" effect.
Double click on the play effect to bring up a dialog box.
Under Stop playing section, select "After current slide".
If you want the sound to play through entire presentation, select "After x
slides", and put 999 in the input field.
Feel free to send the presentation to me if the problem still persist. You
can contact me at pptheaven[at]gmail[dot]com.
