how to impose these special start constraints?

Suppose some activities only start on 'odd' days, and some on 'even'
days, is there a way to impose such constraints in MS Project?

I am trying to use it to schedule college courses that require pre-
requisites. I use days to represent semesters, and there are courses
that are offered only in the 'odd' or 'even' semesters.

I can't think of a way to do this other than using a Start No Earlier Than
constraint and manually setting the date. I'm not sure that's a very good
solution, although it might work in your situation, provided that tasks
don't slip. Hope this helps.
