How to override slide show shortcut keys

Jun

I would like to program some shortcut keys to do something
different than the default powerpoint slide show
behavior. For example, I want to programmatically
override the A key from doing what its supposed to do and
instead either run a macro or call an add-in method. Is
this possible?

Thanks

Taj,
I am trying to programmatically do the same thing without
any additional add-ins. Is there documentation or
resources that explain how to do this with the out-of-the
box powerpoint?

Thanks,

jun
