How to rename Company names from old name to new

When a company gets bought out by another and it is renamed, how do you
rename all of the old companies name to the new. I have about 600 names
associated with one company. They now are owned by another. I want to
rename them all at once and not individually.

Rename the company in one contact then use a list view of the Contacts
folder grouped by company name. Grab the group header for the old company
name and drag it over to the new company name's grouping header. It should
mass change all the other contacts.
