How to reset text animation to play everytime slide starts?

I am creating a PowerPoint show in KIOSK mode. It is not linear... the user
may want to return to a previous slide. I want to put in a simple animation
for some text (slide in from side). I want the text to then remain as is
until the end of the slide. However, if you come back to the slide, I want
the same effect again, Currently, it does the animation once when you enter
the slide, stays as is, but when you leave the slide and return to it, there
is no amimation... it looks the same as when you left it.

You have to go back to the slide before it, because PPT returns to the *end*
state of a slide, not the beginning. So put a dummy slide in, link back to
it, and give it a 00-second automatic transition.
