How to save document as meta file

I need to convert my document as meta filetype but there
is no such file type in 97 or 2002.

Any suggestions.

If you're talking about a WMF or EMF file those are
graphic file formats. Word does not support saving
to graphics formats.

There are some pseudo-printer drivers that can 'print'
to graphic file formats, such as:
