How to send a read only file via e-mail?

I typed my resume on word and somehow it got saved as a read only file. I am
not sure how it did that, but I want to send it to an emplyor via e-mail and
cannot send it. Please help!

In Windows Explorer, right click on the file name and choose Properties.
Click on the General tab if not showing. a the bottom unchedk the Read-only
box, choose OK
