How to share B.C.M. Database with others?

How can I share my B.C.M. Database with others from an external network
drive? I have created the database on my computer, I have put a copy (to
test) on the external network drive, but for some reason outlook can not seem
to find the drive?

I go into Tool, Account Settings, Data Files tab, I click on B.C.M., then
Settings, and I can pick from an existing database, but like i said, no mater
how i tell it to look for the drive it will not find it. Does it have to be
shared from another computer and not an external drive?

Please, any help would be greatly appreciated!
