How to tell if a document is Word 2003?

Any assistance on this would be greatly appreciated:

Is there a way for a Word 2000 user to find out if a document was generated
with Word 2003? Looking under Tools > Compatibility does not work for Word
2000 users so any other hints or tips would be gratefully appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

In Vista Home Premium, if I right-click the file in Windows Explorer, choose
properties, and go to the Details tab, it tells me the version of Word the
file was created in....i.e. Word 9, 10, 11, or 12....

Works in XP as well, except you have to go to the Summary tab and click on
"Advanced"....
