How to temporarily disable an email account

I'm sure I'll slap myself when I hear the answer, but how
can I configure Outlook 2003 to NOT check a particular
email (pop3) account? In Outlook 2000 I just checked the
box "do not check this account." This is handy if I am
going to be out of town for a few days as I don't need to
worry about my wife checking her email and grabbing mine
at the same time.
