How to transfer free download of Project 2003 to new computer?

I downloaded a new version of Project 2003 to my laptop, but it didn't
transfer to my new computer when I moved the files. Is it possible to
transfer it? Concerned about being charged when the trial period runs out
and not having it on a current computer. Not sure what would happen..

"Downloaded new version"??? "Charged when the trial runs out" ???? If you
got it from Microsoft there's no charge for the downloadable trial version
but it can only be installed on one computer and can't be "moved" to
another. Of course, you can always dl a fresh copy for the new computer.
In either case, when it expires on a given computer at the end of the trial
period it shuts down and you have to either pay to purchase the regular
retail version or remove it from the computer. But MS doesn't automatically
bill you at the end of the trial period! If you do purchase the retail
version it's not a matter of unlocking the trial - you actually remove the
expired trial and install your purchased copy. You can't reinstall a fresh
trial copy and get another evaluation period on the same computer, by the
way. After all, that's what free evaluations are all about - to give you
enough time to decide if you want to buy it or not, not to give you a way to
use it for free forever.
