How to Transfer Saved Email Files to New Computer??

How can I transfer saved email files to a new computer?
Using OE6 on both. Tried saving mail files to a folder
and rtansferring to new PC, but did not work. I am sure
there has to be a way to keep your email archives when
changing PC's. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
