How to turn off sounds

....I'm realy being enoyed by this, I'm using Win XP so I don't have
aplication controlled volume control, and there is no option in Groove
settings for this. How can I turn off all sounds in Groove?

Groove provide audio alerts that can be controlled -

Setting alerts for a contact's online status
Right-click the contact(s) or member(s) you want and select Set Alerts.

Setting alerts for a selected workspace
Select File-Properties-Workspace and click the Alerts tab.

You can also set alerts for individual tools in a workspace.
(Groove 2007 User Guide - check it for more details)

yes, I know that, but how to remove sound when message comes in, or when it
is sent out, or "click" sound when I put my mouse over alert? I want Groove
to be totaly silent :)

There is no control that allows you to do this

It is possible to remove the sounds from Groove - edit one of the program
files to remove the resource.

I'm not suggesting you do this, only that it is possible,
