I have a problem understanding how to use my headers without footers. How do

Kendall,
Are you talking about MS Project, a planning and scheduling application
or something else? If you ARE talking about MS Project, please expand
your question so we can understand enough to help you. If you are NOT
talking about MS Project, I suggest you post to a newsgroup that deals
with the application you are using.

I am so sorry I was not clear. I am very new to this whole thing. I am using
Microsoft Office Student and Teacher edition 2003. Every time I go to use my
headers my footers automatically appear. How do I turn off the footers?

Kendall,
Again, it sounds like you are not using MS Project. Although it is often
quoted as being a part of the Microsoft Office suite (marketing ploy),
Project is a completely independent application for setting up and
tracking schedules. If I had to guess, it sounds like you are using the
MS Word application of Office. For questions on Word, you should try one
of the many newsgroups dedicated to Word. There are a ton of them under:
microsoft.public.word.

If you are in fact using MS Project, then footers appear on a printed
page by default. They can be "turned off" by going to Page Setup/Footer
tab. Click on the Center tab of the Alignment entry box and highlight
Page &[Page]. Then hit "Delete" and "OK".
