how to vertically align text in rectangle?

When I add text to rectangle it seems to always start from the very top of
the rectangle. Is there any ways to have it vertically centered in the
rectangle?

Unfortunately, Word does not offer this option. You'll need to either add
Space Before to your text or insert a table cell and center it vertically.
