Howto create Hyperlinks which are functional in printed PDF

In Word 2007 for Windows a Hyperlink created in a word document works even in a PDF created with "Publish to PDF" (that is: it remains clickable and opens the link in a browser).
How do I do this with Office:mac? Neiter Save to PDF nor Print/Save to PDF preserves the hyperlink (are there any options to change)?

I really like producing PDFs containing active links which I can send to my customers (I do _not_ like sending word documents).

I have exactly the same problem. I'm trying to create some web pages. If I produce htm from word, the result is poor (pictures do not come out well). So, I have to put it on the web as pdf. But then hyperlinks don't work.

I have found a crazy solution. Open the word document in Pages, and produce the PDF from there. The hyperlinks are there. Pages does a fair representation of simple word documents. But Word should be able to do this by itself.

I suggest you tell Microsoft that "Word should be able to do this by itself"
by sending feedback via the Help menu. Someone in MacBU sees, logs and
distributes the feedback. But Microsoft employees hardly ever visit this
newsgroup (and we are not Microsoft employees).
