HTM and not HTML

I am using publisher 2003. When I publish to the web I have to type HTML to
make sure it is saved as HTML files. When I do a search on yahoo for
something specific on my website the link comes up as HTM and it won't work.
Can someone tell me why the link comes up as HTM and not HTML and what I need
to do you change it?

..htm and .html are basically equivalent, and unless you have a particular
reason for choosing .html extensions, allow Publisher to use the default of
..htm when you produce your web files. Delete you old web files off your host
and republish.
