hyperlink error

Jim W.

I recently installed FrontPage 2002 on a Windows XP
platform on a Dell Latitude laptop. It's Front Pate
Service Pack 2. My problem is that when I try to use a
hyperlink in edit mode <CTRL Click>, FrontPage responds
with one of those meaningless error messages that tells
me nothing and then shuts down the program as the only
Next action option. I have reinstalled the program twice
and run repair as many times. Still no luck. I have
FrontPage 2002 installed on a Windows 98 platform at home
and it works perfectly. This causes me to suspect an XP
security issue with my laptop. Has anyone else
encountered this problem? Any ideas how to fix it?

Would you be kind enough to share with use the exact text of the meaningless
error message?

Also, have you checked the event logs?
