Wendel44,

I'm a bit confused. Do you want your publisher html page to link to the pdf?
If so the pdf must reside on the same server as your web site.
If you want an active link in the pdf, I use Adobe Acrobat's link tool to
provide active links. The table of contents, page connectors and Web site
links are all active on this newsletter:

sorry for the confusion.

I am trying to add a hyperlink from a specific place on a web page to a pdf
file so that people can download a pledgeform.
I have tried the following steps
1. Open the Publisher file
2. In the hyperlink window (after you select insert hyperlink option), click
Existing File or web
3. In the look In box, select My Networkplaces
3.In My network places, double click on the ftp folder that contain
public_html
4. Now open the public_html folder and select the pdf file
Click o.k.
5. After creating the hyperlink, upload the file to web.
but when I went to create a network place I can find my ftp but there are no
files for me to link to all that comes up is the ftp folder and then I get a
popup window but no way to link to the file I want.

Wendel44,
Is "My Networkplaces" a folder on your computer? If so, you must place your
document (e.g. pledgeform.pdf) in a folder (e.g. documents) on the web site
and then provide the link such as
http://www.mydomain.com/documents/pledgeform.pdf

My Network Places is supposed to give access, information about folders &
files on my computer. So I am not sure where I am making the mistake because
I can get to my ftp site but there are no folders appearing.
