Hyperlinks in Pub 2003

Help, please!! new computer w/ 2003; can't get hyperlinks to link to other websites. they keep linking to a file folder on my computer. it was so simple in version 2000. thanks much.

You should have the option of linking to a page within your site or to an external web page or site

When you select Hyperlink, you should see these options displayed on the left hand side of the box

Thanks for the help. I do see this box and the apparent correct options. Maybe my problem is publishing to the web. 2003 seems a bit more complicated than 2000. I am using WS-FTP. Could somone walk me through the correct process to upload a site or things to the site? I feel like a computer illiterate. Thanks again
