I am having problems outdenting a task in MS Project

I am using MS Project 2003

After initially indenting a task underneath a summary level. MS project does
not allow the outdent function to work for the task immediately below the
summary level. For eg

Summary Level
Task 1
Task 2

Summary Level
Task 1
Task 2

Task 1 cannot be outdented once it has been indented. The only method seems
to be delete the Task 1 and re-enter

Any help would be appreciated

Steve House [Project MVP]

This is a known bug in Project 2003 as originally released and it has been
fixed in the service packs a long time ago. Go to the MS website, download
and apply the service packs (free download) and you'll be rockin' & rollin'.
