I can no longer open some files.

I have some files that I created in 2007 and some in 2008. What they have in
common is the word "Insert" in the file name. As of last month (June), I can
no longer open these files. Does anyone know what I can do?

With what version Publisher did you create these files? Do you have a full
version of Publisher or is it a trial?
Do you have Norton?

Having the title *insert* shouldn't matter as long as they say insert
differently, *for example* insert02, insert03 and so on. How many files do you
have with this name? Have you done a virus scan lately?

I have a full version
I do not have Norton

I have 50+ files. Here is a sample of how they are named: Sunday Bulletin
07-08-08 Insert

I have been able to open them until about a month ago.

If you never named these files *insert*, I suspect you have a virus going on. Go
to Trend Micro and let them do a virus scan.
