I can not download office templates

I have office 2003 professional and windows xp. I have cleared my internet
files, cookies, and history. However, every time I try to download a
template into excel I get the error message... microsoft excel has
experienced problems and will need to close. Any suggestions on how to
overcome this and download the templates?

You might want to try a repair install on Office.. insert the CD and select
the option to repair when offered..

I tried to repair. It was successful, but I still cannot download the
templates.
