I cannot get windows 2000 to power off.

When shutting down my computer, it will go through the process of saving
settings and shutting down, but then does not power off the computer. It
just sits there with a blue screen.

in the proper newsgroup. This one is for issue/question about Microsoft

specifically for Windows. I thought this one was for general questions.

Are you posting thru MS's website or a newsreader like Outlook Express?
