I cannot open a hyperlink in an office 2003 program

When trying to open a hyperlink from within an office 2003 program (eg,
Excel) the following message is displayed: "Unable to open
http/:........../html. No program is registered to open this file". Could
someone tell me how to fix this problem? Thanks,

R-click on an HTML file and select Open With and set Internet explorer
to open that file type.
