I can't install from Office 2000 Pro premium product CD's

I have office 2000 pro, I'm trying to install only
Front page 2000 and Publisher 2000. I'm running Windows ME and have MS Works
2002 (Word only) installed. When I try to install office 2000 I receive the
error message " <unknown> has caused an error in <unknown>. <Unknown> will
now close." The install then stops with the message " Installation has
stopped due to unknown error. If you continue having problems, try restarting
your computer."

Can anyone help??? If not, does anyone have any front page and publisher
software they care to share? I want to try creating a web page for my poetry,
and I'm somewhat familair with these two programs. (thats why I am trying to
install from my CD's)

Yes it literally says that. As a matter of fact, I quoted the error message
exactly as it came up. When I try to load only Publisher it has problem
installing some files. I hit retry several times with no luck, I end up
hitting cancel...
