I can't open pdf attachments; tries to open in MS Word. Help!

When I receive a pdf file as an attachment to an email, it automatically
tries to open the file in MS Word which is unreadable. How can I reset my
computer to give me the option to open the pdf attachment in Adobe Acrobat
9.0?

Save the .pdf file to your hard disk. Right click on it and choose,
"Open with" and choose Adobe Acrobat and tick where it says "always use
this program to open this type of file ..." or something like that.

right click on one the pdf files on your computer, and select Choose,
and set Acrobat as the one to always use.
