I downloaded some Office updates and it now me activate but won't.

I downloaded some new updates for MS Office 2003 Pro, however when I opened
Word it asked me to activate it using either the online method on the phone.

I had already activated it when I first installed Office so was unsure as to
why I was asked to activate it again, but I proceeded to activate it online.

However it then said I had exceeded the activation allowance (or something
to that effect), and so I could not proceed. What the hell is this all about
because it has now locked up every program in the Office Package.

Anyone know how to fix this ? - uninstalling & reinstalling didn't work.
