I keep installing a font and when I reboot my computer it disappe.

I keep installing a font to my hard drive and when I reboot my computer it
disappears and I can't use it in word or open a document with this font - it
automatically changes to something else ... what am I doing wrong??? I'm
using WORD2002 10.4219.4219 SP-2 ... can you advise?

Does the font work in any other program? Did you copy ALL the files
for the font? What font? From where? What sort of font?
