I need to reference an entire row in another sheet.

I am doing grades. I have the data for individual students and different projects on different sheets.

I am making a totals page and I need one row on one page to reference a row on another page. I don't want to cut and paste because I need the totals sheet to be able to change if grades change on another sheet. But I have nearly 350 students and don't want to go through and reference cell by cell.

Thoughts?

Instead of cut and paste, did you try copy and paste? Sheet 1 can certainly
have a formula in a cell that refers to data on sheet 2. If so, then the
totals on sheet 1 will change when the data on sheet 2 changes.

I did. It only copies the totals from the cells. So when I alter those totals, the 'pasted' portion doesn't change.

No, it should copy the formulas also. Did you use paste special instead of
paste? List each step you are doing if this is still giving you trouble.
